Its better to make the tart a day ahead because it needs time to be done and the mixture to freeze well. Its totally worth it !!!
You can make your own hazelnut butter. Put 300gr raw unsalted hazelnuts in the oven and roast for 10 minutes to 200 degrees. . Then remove from the oven, let them cool and remove their skin. Put in the mixing bowl and mix for 3 minutes stopping every 30 seconds to scrape down the sides with the aid of spatula. Use as much as the recipe requires and put the rest in the fridge.
