• We recommend drinking this smoothie immediately so you can benefit from as much of its nutritional value as possible.
• All ingredients benefit the gastrointestinal system.
• Due to its rich fiber and water content, pineapple helps prevent constipation and ensures a healthy digestive system. Pineapple is also rich in bromelain, an enzyme that helps the body dilute and absorb proteins.
• Dark green leafy vegetables like spinach, are a great source of fiber but also of other nutritional elements like folic acid and vitamins C, K and A. Research has shown that dark green leafy vegetables also contain a specific sugar type that helps promote the development of healthy bacteria in the gut.
• Avocado has healthy fats. These protect the heart and can reduce cholesterol. Also, these healthy fats promote a healthy gut biodiversity which ultimately leads to a healthy gut.
• Honey is an antioxidant and can minimise the damage on the gut's flora by removing free radicals. It can also help reduce esophageal inflammation.
• Almond milk can help constipation and other gut issues and maintain a healthy digestive system.
