PREPARATION
MIXED NUT BARS
Step 1
Put in the mixing bowl 120gr unsalted mixed nuts and chop

Put crushed nuts in a bowl and leave aside.

Put in the mixing bowl 95gr pitted dates and chop

Add in the mixing bowl crushed nuts, 120gr almond butter, 160gr oat flakes, 25gr chia seeds, 15gr black sesame seeds, 30gr raisins, 30gr dried cranberries, 60gr maple syrup, 50gr melted coconut oil and mix

Scrape down the sides using the aid of spatula and mix again.

Put parchment paper in a baking tray 30X20cm and pre heat oven to 170 degrres.
Step 7
Put the mixture from the mixing bowl in the baking tray and make sure to even the surface.
Step 8
Bake in the oven for 18 minutes on 170 degrees. Let the tray cool down and then put it in the fridge for 1 hour. Then remove from the fridge and cut in bars. Store in an airtight tupper.
TIPS

1. Put pitted dates in the fridge for one hour to firm up a little bit. You want them to crush not to melt when you mix them with the other ingredients.
2. Almond butter has to be soft and runny. If its not then put it in the mixing bowl and warm it up on step 3 for 2 minutes on 70 degrees after you have removed pitted dates from the mixing bowl.

VARIATIONS

You can use any nuts you prefer and any nut butter you like or even whole grain tahini !
