LENTIL BURGERS WITH TAHINI SAUCE
VEGAN BURGERS MADE FROM LENTILS, MUSHROOMS AND WALNUTS!

ΕΚΤΕΛΕΣΗ
LENTIL BURGERS
Βήμα 1
Put in the mixing bowl 100gr unsalted walnuts and chop

Put crushed walnuts in a bowl and leave aside.

Put in the mixing bowl 120gr brown onions cut in 4, 1 garlic clove and chop

Add in the mixing bowl 30gr olive oil and saute

Add in the mixing bowl 250gr mushrooms cut in slices and saute

Remove mixture from the mixing bowl and put it in a sieve to drain all excess liquid.

Add in the mixing bowl 400gr cooked lentils, walnuts you left aside, the mixture with the mushrooms since it drained all excess water, 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, 1 tablespoon salt and pepper. Mix

Scrape down the sides using the aid of spatula and add in the mixing bowl 100gr oat flakes. Mix again

Put the mixture in a big bowl to grab mixture easier and mold burgers.

Pre heat oven to 180 degrees and put parchment paper in a big baking tray.

Mold 10-11 small balls, approximately 70gr each. Put them on the baking tray and press slowly with a form to flatten. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes on one side and 5 minutes on the other side.
In the meantime prepare tahini sauce.
WHOLE GRAIN TAHINI SAUCE

Put in the mixing bowl 85gr whole grain tahini, 20gr lemon juice, 110gr water and a pinch of salt. Mix

Put tahini sauce in a bowl, use as much as you want and store the rest in an airtight tupper in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Garnish lentil burgers with tahini sauce and serve.

If you dont like tahini sauce you can serve burgers with any sauce you prefer.
