The company Eminentia Trading Ltd, which is a duly incorporated and established company, pursuant to the legislation of the Republic of Cyprus, with registration number ΗΕ 32582 and head offices at 53, Prodromou street, Flat 1, Nicosia 1090, Cyprus, is responsible for editing the website
2.1 The present General Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as «the GTU») govern the use of the Recipe Community and the Forum, which are available through the Website.
On the one hand, you can use the Recipe Community and the Forum to share the recipes you have adapted for Thermomix™ as well as cooking tips and tips concerning the use of Thermomix™, and, on the other hand, to participate in discussions with other members in general.
2.2. Access to these services is provided after signing up on the Website and creating an account, according to the provisions set out below.
Creating an account on the Website implies that you accept the present GTU and it grants you the status of a member of the Website.
2.3 If you do not wish to create an account: continuing to browse the Website, means that you accept the present GTU. If you do not agree with them, either in whole or in part, you must terminate your visit on the Website.
In general, Eminentia Trading Ltd assumes that the messages, information or content that you send to the Website, via email or in any other way, constitute non confidential information, which is not protected by any intellectual property rights, with the exception, of course, of your personal data (for more information concerning the use of your personal data: see Privacy Policy).
These messages, information and content, include for example the questions, answers, comments, remarks as well as other messages of similar nature that you might send on your own initiative to the Website.
When creating an account, you choose a nickname (user name) and password (and these two together constitute your «Login Credentials», as well as an email address, which will be connected to your account.
Every time that you wish to access your account, you will have to use your Login Credentials. After having created your account, Eminentia Trading Ltd will confirm that you have signed up via email.
Your username will be the only personal information visible to other users, while your password will remain strictly confidential and personal
4.2.1 Eminentia Trading Ltd cannot, on no occassion, be considered responsible for any potential consequences in case you do not change the password provided to you.
In case you forget your password, click on «Forgot Password» and type your user name or email address. Then, you will receive a message directly to your email inbox.
You can change your password at any time, clicking on «My Account» and, then, «Change password».
4.2.2 It is your responsibility to ensure strict protection of the confidentiality of your Login Credentials.
Preservation, use and transmission of your Login Credentials is under your full and sole responsibility.
Eminentia Trading Ltd would like to caution you about the dangers of using the auto-login feature (storing your Login Credentials) and suggests to sign out of your profile and close the browser window at the end of every session, especially if you are using a public computer.
4.2.3 Every time you use your Login Credentials, it is assumed that this action was carried out by you or it was duly authorised by you.
You must immediately inform Eminentia Trading Ltd via email concerning any non authorised use of your Login Credentials at the following email address: info@eminentia.com.cy.
In case that a violation of the terms of the present article leads to an unlawful or fraudulent use or a misuse of your Login Credentials, and to a third party gaining access to your account without your express authorisation, Eminentia Trading Ltd shall not be considered responsible, in any case, for any potential detrimental consequences which might ensue.
5.1 As soon as you sign up, you can post recipes, see the recipes posted by other members as well as comment below these recipes.
5.2 All the recipes that you upload on the Website are published under your sole responsibility.
These recipes are not tested by Eminentia Trading Ltd and, therefore, Eminentia Trading Ltd cannot provide any guarantees, especially concerning the quantities and success rates of recipes, which are published in this way. Make sure that you always follow the instructions of use, included in the User’s Manual which comes with your Thermomix™.
Recipes are considered non confidential information and they are not protected by any intellectual property rights.
When you publish a recipe in the Recipe Community, you authorise Eminentia Trading Ltd to reproduce, upload and make public, by any means and in any way and without receiving any compensation, the said recipe and you forego all relevant rights and legal remedies against Eminentia Trading Ltd.
5.3 As far as the recipes available in the Recipe Community are concerned, Eminentia Trading Ltd would like to remind you that it is not permitted to reproduce and distribute them or their images for commercial purposes or for profit. The only way in which it is permitted to exploit the said recipes and images is to reproduce/distribute them within your family circle, pursuant to the Protection of Copyright and Relevant Rights Laws of 1976 until 1993.
It is also prohibited to reproduce and distribute recipes protected by third-party rights, including recipes published by Eminentia Trading Ltd, and more specifically recipes from Thermomix™ recipe books and booklets. Nevertheless, it is permitted to cite short extracts, as set out in the Protection of Copyright and Relevant Rights Laws of 1976 until 1993, on the condition that you do not reproduce whole recipes and that the name of the creator and the source of the recipe are indicated. Thus, Eminentia Trading Ltd forbids the detailed reproduction of these recipes but you can get inspiration from them and create your own recipes. In this regard, you can use certain extracts from Thermomix™ recipes on the abovementioned terms.
5.4 Images illustrating the recipes that are published in the Community should not violate third-party rights. Therefore, it is prohibited to upload third-party images, for which you have not received an express permission to exploit and reproduce them, including images appearing in Thermomix™ recipe books and booklets as well as in Eminentia Trading Ltd’s websites.
5.5 Some of the recipes published in the Website may contain alcoholic beverages. We would like to remind you that alcohol should be consumed in moderation and that alcohol abuse may be hazardous for your health.
Additionally, you acknowledge that it is not permitted to use the Recipe Community in order to promote the consumption of alcoholic beverages or to promote a specific brand of alcoholic beverage.
As soon as you sign up, you will have free access and you will be able to participate in the Forum of the Website, subject to compliance with the applicable legislation and the present GTU.
6.1 By participating in the Forum, you undertake to respect its rules of conduct. Your messages should not violate third-party rights and there should not be any likelihood of them being detrimental to the image of the Website, Eminentia Trading Ltd or its products.
You undertake to respect the basic code of behaviour and politeness and, especially, to address the other participants with politeness and avoid personal attacks.
6.2 It is expressly prohibited to participate in the Forum publishing messages that fall within either category (i) «obviously illegal content», or category (ii) «potentially illegal content», in any format (including but not limited to images, drawings, videos, texts, sounds).
«Obviously illegal content» means especially, but without limitation, the posting of messages with paedophile or pornographic content, voluntarily life-threatening messages, messages attacking the integrity of an individual, messages concerning sexual assaults, glorification of a crime, war crime, crime against humanity, crime and offence of collaboration with the enemy, messages inciting discrimination, hatred or violence against an individual or a group of people because of their place of origin, because they are from or are not from a certain nation, ethnic group, race, or have or do not have a certain religion.
«Potentially illegal content» means especially, but without limitation, the posting of messages that are contrary to public order or good morals, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, vulgar, obscene, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful etc., directly or indirectly inciting someone to commit suicide, defamatory and/or libelous, and messages that could cause harm in any way to minors.
Eminentia Trading Ltd and the Discussion Forum’s moderators reserve the right to delete, on their own initiative or at the request of a third party, any disrespectful message.
6.3 Additionally, it is prohibited to post messages in the Discussion Forum that are contrary to the general spirit of the Website, including but not limited to messages taking a stand or expressing opinions on politics or religion, messages with inappropriate, offensive or crude content etc. Eminentia Trading Ltd and the Discussion Forum’s moderators reserve the right to delete such messages from the Discussion Forum.
6.4 In general, as far as the Discussion Forum is concerned, it is prohibited to do the following (though this list is not exhaustive):
- use the Website for commercial purposes, for profit or aiming to promote a website or a blog, in an abusive way.
- try to deceive other users, appropriating the name or brand of other persons and especially, pretending to be an employee, collaborator or partner of Eminentia Trading Ltd or any other company that might be a part of the VORWERK group, or pretending to be a coordinator or host of the Website.
- download, publish or distribute, in any way, any content containing viruses or any other code or software designed with the purpose of hindering, altering, interrupting, destroying or limiting the normal functioning or operations of the Website.
The moderators and coordinators of the Discussion Forum will make efforts to delete the messages that include illegal content in the shortest possible time.
However, you have the sole responsibility for the content of the messages that you post in the Discussion Forum.
We remind you that if the same message is posted more than once, it will be considered spam and it could be deleted by the moderators and the coordinators.
Eminentia Trading Ltd cannot, in any case, be considered responsible for any content, and especially for illegal content, within the context of the existing rules, for any loss or damage that might occur following the use of any content posted or transmitted via direct message or in any other way on the Discussion Forum.
It should be pointed out that the person who creates a message in the Discussion Forum can also delete it.
Additionally, any comment made aiming to demean or disparage Eminentia Trading Ltd and/or its products and services shall be deleted.
The role of the coordinator is to:
- make sure that the present GTU as well as the existing and applicable legislation concerning the Website are respected
- delete messages and threads which are not in compliance with the present GTU and/or the existing and applicable legislation concerning the Website
- reply, in a simple way and if deemed necessary, to questions regarding the Website, its functions and its purpose.
The coordinator should not be considered a member of the Forum. Additionally, he/she is not in charge of answering purely technical questions and questions that concern the After-Sales Service. If such question is asked, it shall always be forwarded to the After-Sales Service, which will examine every request of the interested member in depth and individually.

Eminentia Trading Ltd reminds you that minors (individuals under 18 years old) are not capable of entering into contractual commitments and, therefore, they cannot sign up on the Website without parental consent, especially in order to carry out purchases, receive our newsletter etc.
Nevertheless, minors may browse the Website and see the different services offered, under the responsibility of their legal representative, subject to the present GTU.
Eminentia Trading Ltd is the owner of the intellectual property rights regarding all the components of the Website, including the graphic charter, tree graph, browser interface, contents: texts, brand name, logos, graphics, designs, models, photographs, videos, images, sounds etc.
To this end, you are not allowed to make any representation, reproduction, adaptation, translation and/or modification, in whole or in part, and/or any transfer onto any other medium, of any component of the Website, without prior written approval from Eminentia Trading Ltd.
Distinctive signs and more specifically trademarks, corporate names, commercial names, signage, titles and domain names belong to Eminentia Trading Ltd or its partners and they cannot be used without prior written consent from the owner.
Any breach of the above mentioned provisions is considered as counterfeiting, engaging the civil and/or criminal liability of the counterfeiter.
The components of the Website are available to you to consult and for personal use, excluding any possibility of commercial exploitation.
You have the right to download, reproduce, distribute or print the recipes, images and other contents of the Website exclusively within your immediate family circle, pursuant to the Protection of Copyright and Relevant Rights Laws of 1976 until 1993, provided that all references relating to the ownership of the rights of the said contents are reproduced.
It is prohibited to create any hypertext links to the Website without the prior written consent of Eminentia Trading Ltd.
The Website may contain hyperlinks of our partners, advertisers or sponsors. These hyperlinks could direct you to websites operated by third parties and which Eminentia Trading Ltd does not control in any way. Therefore, Eminentia Trading Ltd cannot be considered responsible, in any case, for the content of the said websites and the offers that they may post.
Eminentia Trading Ltd seeks to ensure, to the best of its ability, that the information provided in the Website is accurate and updated.
Eminentia Trading Ltd reserves the right to correct, at any moment and without prior warning, the content of the Website and it cannot be considered responsible for the accuracy of the information distributed in the Website.
For example, the Website may contain information on products as well as local and international services of the Vorwerk group, which may not be available worldwide.
In case of non compliance with the present GTU, Eminentia Trading Ltd reserves the right to delete your account, temporarily or definitively, notwithstanding any legal proceeding that Eminentia Trading Ltd could lodge against you.
The present GTU are subject to Cypriot Law.
Any litigation or dispute concerning the enforcement or interpretation of the GTU that cannot be resolved via an amicable settlement between the parties, shall be submitted to the competent Courts of the Republic of Cyprus.
